Lucas Egebe is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Board-Certified Psychiatric
and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. At Houston Medical-Mental Health Clinic, he offers exceptional services to patients
affected by emotional, behavioral, and physical health problems. Dr. Egebe’s skills extend from
providing medical weight loss treatment and counseling to helping people with
mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. He aims to provide a world-
class therapeutic environment for his patients. Dr. Egebe attended the University of
Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland, to study for his bachelor’s degree in nursing. He
received his master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, and earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Grand Canyon
University in Phoenix, Arizona. He also completed a postdoctoral psychiatric and
mental health specialty program at the University of Massachusetts Global (formerly
Brandman University). Dr. Egebe believes that a certain clarity comes with proper
mental health care. His mission is to work hard with his clients to build on their
strengths and steer them towards a path of healthy self-sufficiency. Dr. Egebe
takes pride in shaping professional growth by precepting and mentoring graduate
students.
